Dr. J. George Strobele MD, M.B., Ch. B
Dr. Strobele is the founder of the Nex Health Team Burlington, Ontario. He is highly respected within the medical community and has established a worldwide network of physicians. Dr. Strobele continues to assist ATS in clinically related decision making about product efficacy and safety. Additionally, his network of health practitioners is able to assist ATS in executing Health Technology Assessments and clinical trials.

Dr. Natalie Goto, PhD.
Dr. Goto is a professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Ottawa. Her research has a central focus in NMR based methods for solving membrane protein structures. These methods utilize gel-mediums to assist in obtaining physiological resolution.

Chris McLaughlin, BSc. Honours Biochemistry (PhD. Candidate)
Chris is part of the ATS research team involving hydrogel in vitro and physical/chemical testing. Currently Chris is completing his PhD. in Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the University of Ottawa’s Eye Institute. His PhD. research is focused on the development of in vitro and in vivo test methods for assessing the safety and efficacy of biomimetic hydrogels as cornea replacements

France Lebel, BSc. Biochemistry (minor in Business Administration)
France received her degree from the University of Ottawa, and has been an asset to the advisory team in assessing the efficacy of the hydrogel concepts as a consumer product. In addition to being apart of the ATS Advisory Board, she is also a field sales representative for a Pfizer.

Bill Revill FIE Aust, CP.Eng, CQE, CQP,
Bill is an accredited quality specialist and professional engineer. He has aided ATS in building the foundation for quality assurance and will be guiding the Company towards ISO and other quality accreditations.

Michael Richardson CP.Eng
Michael is an automation and mechanical engineering specialist. He has over 20 years of extensive experience with manufacturing, ranging from automotive to polymers. Michael continues to aid ATS in the development of its hydrogel manufacturing processes.

Kathryn Johnson, RMT
Kathryn has been practicing massage for over ten years and is experienced in Shiatsu, reflexology, aromatherapy, cryotherapy and holistic medicine. Currently Kathryn assists ATS in the development of physiotherapy and sports medicine related products by providing guidance on unmet needs and product performance. In addition to advising ATS Biotech, Kathryn is a full time massage therapist for Genesis Massage Therapy Centre in Mississauga, Ontario.

Dr. Alvin Chan, PhD.
Dr. Chan is a professor for the department of Biochemistry, Immunology and Microbiology at the University of Ottawa. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in the field of clinical and basic research pertaining to free radicals in biology and medicine. Dr. Chan has been an advisor of ATS for over one year, and has since made contributions to the further advancement of ATS Biotech's wound healing technology. Aside from ATS, Dr. Chan has an extensive list of publications, in addition to serving as a board member for the DRI committee, editor for the Journal of Nutrition and fellowship experience at highly recognized institutions such as the Mayo Clinic.

Dr. Robert Shipley, PhD.
Currently a Senior Research Scientist for a major biomedical corporation. PhD in Physiology from Texas A&M University. Extensive academic and industrial research experience on mechanisms and treatment of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, hypertension, and aging in basic and applied scientific positions. Experience leading device-based discovery and development programs in industry. Advanced clinical product candidates via in-house strategies allied with biotechnology and academic institutions nationally and internationally.

Gina Cortese Shipley, M.S
Mrs. Cortese-Shipley has an M.S. in Exercise Physiology from Texas A & M University and a B.S. in Exercise Science and Health and Wellness from Washington State University.

Her responsibilities include providing instruction in a wide variety of health and wellness areas and developing curriculum for workshops for health and fitness professionals. Ms. Cortese has been actively involved in the wellness field serving as a speaker for many educational series, health conferences, and certification courses; authoring articles pertaining to health and exercise published both locally and nationally and advising student interns.

Prior to joining our team, Ms. Cortese served as Exercise Physiology Department Supervisor for the Baylor Tom Landry Center where she worked with medical professionals conducting physiologic assessments and providing wellness enhancement through lifestyle intervention.
